Serving the scientific community.
Labstep stemmed from our own personal experience in research. Limitations of a paper notebook and frustrations with ELN alternatives inspired us to build a tool that simplifies documentation at every step of the research process.
Core to our company ethos is maintaining close communication with the scientific community, who advise us in the shaping of the platform. Building something that is highly adaptable, widely applicable and perfectly aligned with research demands is our top priority.
More than 70% of researchers have tried and failed to reproduce another scientist's experiments, and more than half have failed to reproduce their own experiments. The problem isn’t new, but now it’s under the microscope. Yet the digital revolution has barely penetrated science labs. With Labstep, we want to tackle this issue. By making note-taking as easy as possible, and capturing real-time process data for users, our aim is to increase reproducibility of scientific studies.
